Dune Bashing & Sunset

The adventure begins the moment we hit the sand. After deflating the tires for better traction, our skilled drivers take you on a 30-40 minute dune bashing session. This involves driving at varying speeds over shifting dunes, creating a thrilling "rollercoaster" effect.

The Sunset Stop: Midway through the drive, we stop at the highest dune peak. This is the perfect moment to take off your shoes, feel the cool sand, and watch the sun dip below the horizon. The photo opportunities here are unmatched.

Camp Activities

After the sun sets, we head to our desert camp. Here, you are welcomed with traditional Arabic hospitality:

  • Gahwa & Dates: Authentic Arabic coffee served with fresh dates upon arrival.
  • Camel Riding: Enjoy a short ride on a camel, known as the ship of the desert.
  • Henna Painting: Ladies and children can get beautiful traditional Henna tattoos on their hands.
  • Shisha Smoking: A dedicated area is available for Shisha (hubbly bubbly) smoking.
  • Traditional Dress: Try on Kandura (for men) and Abaya (for women) for photos.

What should I wear?
Casual, comfortable clothing. In winter (Nov-Mar), bring a light jacket as the desert gets chilly at night. Avoid high heels.
Is the safari safe for pregnant women?
Due to the bumpy nature of dune bashing, we do not recommend it for pregnant women or people with severe back problems. However, you can book a private car that drives directly to the camp without dune bashing.
Is alcohol available?
Yes, there is a bar at the camp where you can purchase alcoholic beverages. Note: No alcohol is served during Ramadan or Islamic holidays.
